Evening Miscellaneity

• Okay, okay I'm stretching it here... but, here's another reason why it sucks to be a lawyer: the third lawyer to represent Saddam Hussein has been found dead.

• Slate recently celebrated its 10th Anniversary. I enjoy that they posted quite a few critiques about their style/writing/etc, especially because I share some of those complaints.

• Washington Post says that the U.S. is losing its middle-class neighborhoods. Sure, but man does that suck. And it's certainly evident here in gentrification city (ie the District of Columbia).
  

• I'm still forever unsure how I feel about this hot potato. But I enjoyed the essay.
